Going into details, Amotek IS220 Multi-bagger Series, it’s the perfect packaging solution for interfolded tissue as well as multipack of nonwovens products. This bagger perfectly reflects the company philosophy in terms of versatility and flexibility, with its wide range of formats and configurations, its modular infeed concept and the possibility to execute single and multiple layer presentations, even with thinner products for easy pack formations.
The machine concept is to pack single wrapped products in multipack from 3 up to 30 pcs in a bag. After this step, the obtained squared package can be perfectly stacked on a pallet. Several machines have already been installed in Europe and in the MENA region with a very positive market feedback. Amotek PB baggers is the top selling series of tissue machines for toilet rolls.
Thanks to its flexibility and reliability, this range meets the continuously growing demand for high speed of the market. Beyond performances, always a look to the sustainability
Amotek recently invested in solar panel system that is positioned on one of the company’s buildings covering a roof of approximately 850 square meters.
The panel system was powered up in September 2023 and has since guaranteed a capability of up to 100 kilowatts per hour. The whole energy needed for daily activities is covered, saving 55 tons of CO2 each year with the goal of further reducing it in the next five years. The possibility of a constant remote check enables an insight into the system’s performance and potential maintenance cases in real-time. The installation of several plugs in the parking will enable electrical cars to be recharged.
Amotek is on continuous research and development to control and improve its machines’ energy performances and work on new sealing methods suitable for ecofriendly packaging materials that guarantee an ethical and sustainable packaging process. Eco-friendly packaging conversion is always possible on Amotek baggers and this flexibility represents a big advantage for the customer. How? It allows replacing a multitude of PE and PP materials with green materials without applying any significant modification to the existing equipment.
The consistent material savings in bag thickness is another important goal obtained on Amotek machinery; the biggest achievement in terms of material saving is the possibility of running packing material reduced by up to 30 percent compared to the standard of use worldwide.
The company obtained effective results by using servomotors that allow the saving and reuse of accrued energy during braking and stopping phases, generating about 85% of the movement. The aim to reduce air consumption was realistically obtained. The pneumatic system has been redesigned, allowing a reduction in pressure with relevant air savings compared to standard machines.
